The Human Abilities - Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities would like to wish everyone a happy new year. We hope that everyone had some peaceful days between Christmas and New Years despite the ongoing pandemic.

We would also like to welcome our new fellows Julia Jorati and Carlotta Pavese who are joining us this January. Julia is a member of the Department of Philosophy at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her reseach focuses on Early Modern Philosophy, especially early modern philosophy of action, metaphysics, ethics, and philosophy of mind.
Carlotta is Associate Professor at the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University. Her academic focus lies on philosophy of mind, epistemology, action theory and philosophy of language. Welcome!
