Kant’s theoretical philosophy
I am a lecturer at Free University and work primarily on Kant’s theoretical philosophy. Furthermore, I have a special interest in the philosophy of perception.
My project at the centre concerns the question of how Kant conceives of the limits of human being’s understanding. Specifically, I will treat the following questions: 1) Does Kant determine the limits of the human understanding solely by distinguishing it from the understanding of a divine being, or also by distinguishing it from the understanding of other finite beings? 2) What follows from the limitedness of our understanding for the limits of our capacity to cognize things?
