I am interested in almost any part of philosophy. However, over the last couple of years my focus has been on topics in philosophy of language, epistemology and decision theory.
During my fellowship at the Center I plan to investigate the role of abilities in practical deliberation. One question I am particularly interested in is how learning about one's abilities affects rational choice. Another topic I am interested in is ability modals and degree language: what does it mean to say that someone is more or better able to do something than someone else?
