I wrote a book on agents’ abilities with the very telling title „Agents’ Abilities“, which recently came out with De Gruyter. Yet, I still find so many issues puzzling that I am not planning on quitting my work on abilities any time soon. Most of the questions keeping me awake, at least during the day, currently revolve around the ability to do otherwise, addiction and impaired abilities, and the relationship between abilities and dispositions. In the near future, I’d like to think more about opportunities and options, rational capacities, and social power.
