Social Interaction and Social Abilities: Norms, Scripts, and Injustices

Abstract: The aim of this workshop is to investigate how norms, scripts, and systematic injustices shape our social interactions and our capacities. We will address questions concerning the influence of stereotypes and biases on social interaction; how cognitive mechanisms and capacities are affected by cultural and normative forces; and the development of strategies for meaningful social change.
